Valaam

Valaam is a mystery and a real Russian orthodox church gem, situated in Karelia region. A place like no other, where solitude is a synonym to spiritual growth and discovery of true inner peace.

Valaam is a monastery situated on a fully isolated island in Lake Ladoga. To get there we need to take a boat, so trips are only possible during navigation season (May through September). We’ll see the breathtaking Karelia, Ladoga Lake and explore the day-to-day life of Valaam monks. This tour includes an over-night stay on the island.
